THE MUSEUM OF GOLF

The Golf Course Superintendent's Association of America (GCSAA) and The Badin Inn signed an agreement in 2007 to locate the country's largest golf course equipment museum in an original 1924 golf course maintenance barn on the Inn property.

GCSAA is the world's largest organization of professional golf course superintendent's and has been collecting historic artifacts and equipment for a number of years. The exhibit will be displayed in a timeline featuring golf equipment, golf course artifacts, maintenance equipment and golfers of each era. Projected to open in late 2009, the museum is now in the process of establishing a non-profit status and sponsorships.
